Adult Sunday School
Our Adult Sunday School classes meet at 9:00 am. We have three adult classes each with distinctive class curriculum. The John Phillips class (Room 1) shares teaching responsibilities and uses the Adult Bible studies. The Seeker Sunday School Class (Fellowship Hall) uses topical study resources, and the Fisherman Class (Room 12) work their way through the Bible one book at a time.
During Lent and Advent, all are invited to take part in a seasonal study led by the Pastor during the Sunday school hour. On 5th Sundays, we suspend classes and have a covered dish breakfast for the whole church family. Sunday School classes are open to all, and you are warmly invited to come and check them out.
Bible and Topical Studies
The Mary Levine Bible Study (MLBS) meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from September through June. This women’s Bible study meets in different homes from 7 – 8:30 PM, with refreshments afterwards. Because this group meets in people’s homes, typically there is no childcare. However, if there is a need this can be addressed. Please contact the church office if you are interested in attending.
The Men’s Bible Study meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays each month (September – June) at 6:30pm. This group meets at church in the John Phillips classroom (by the sanctuary entrance), and studies the lectionary readings for the coming Sundays. This adds to our understanding of the context of each reading, and helps us prepare for worship. New members are always welcome!
